Reserve Gas is currently seeking a Gas Field Specialist, with a strong desire for a successful long-term career within.

A Gas Field Specialist is responsible for performing many varied gas field activities including installation of main line, service line, house regulators and meters, repair and maintenance of gas well equipment and pipeline systems, reading meters, responding to gas emergency calls, collections and recording pertinent operation records accurately.

The prime candidate will be physically capable to work outdoors in all types of weather, have the ability to work in and around hazards and difficult to reach areas, possess excellent customer service skills, open communication, integrity, positive attitude and be able to demonstrate team work daily.

Prior experience in utilities, construction, farming and landscaping, as well as, knowledge of pumps, gauges, pneumatic, and hydraulics is highly preferred. Familiarity with riding an ATV and snowmobile is highly recommended.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have a valid NYS driver's license, transportation and must be a local resident (within a 20-mile radius of Alden, NY). Commercial Driver’s License a plus.

This is an ENTRY LEVEL position, no industry experience is required. We are willing to train the RIGHT candidate from the bottom up. Pay is based on experience
