Another year has come and gone. It seems as if the days and weeks go by in the blink of an eye. No sooner did Spring start, it felt as if we were planning for winter again.
We started the year by hiring a new employee to assist in the office. Tamsen Johnson was brought aboard in March to help alleviate some of the workload that our dedicated ladies in the office take care of. She stepped right in and instantly was an asset. Her friendly and easy-going attitude fits right in with our crew. At the time of this publication, she has now been with the company for a year. We appreciate everything she does to assist us in our companies’ day-to-day operations.
We spent the fall preparing for the cold weather ahead. Thankfully, although not good for a Natural Gas company we had a mild October to December. This allowed our gas wells to perhaps have a small break compared to previous frigid years.
This year, 2024, our production company Alden Aurora Gas celebrated its centennial anniversary. Starting in 1924 as a Natural Gas Drilling, producing, and marketing company, Alden Aurora would go on to be a long-lasting producer of Natural Gas in partnership with our utility company Reserve Gas. Many of the original wells from years ago are still producing today to help supply Natural gas to our local customers. Nowadays it’s not as common for a business to have lasted 100 years and we look forward to many more years to come.
Finally, as always, we would like to give a huge thank you to all our customers. We appreciate your business. Without you we would never have succeeded for 100 years. We look forward to continuing to provide you with a safe, and reliable natural gas service.
