2023Looking Back on 2016...
Over 60 new services is the hallmark of Reserve’s growth in 2016. On Sumner Road we extended our main by 350’ to hook-up a new customer. Our ongoing system updates involved switching steel service valves to plastic. It also included our updating a railroad crossing with 200’ of plastic and 150’ of new steel.
We laid 1,700’ of mains around the developing Patio Homes project on Main Street in Alden and hooked up the model home with a projected 20 services to follow. We had a challenging time adding 400’ through the boulder strewn Nice Road extension. Here we added a total of 3 new customers on Nice Road.
On the main extensions we completed last year on County Line, Henskee and Sullivan Roads we placed 52 new meters, with an average 250’ of service line per home, with a projected 18 more to follow.
In addition, we added 8 more residential customers at various locations and hooked up a new commercial account. All of the above required quite a bit of labor and two new employees, Mark Moyer and Cody Mercer, jumped right in helping to make it all possible.
